Children's Ministry
Abiding Grace Children's Ministry exists to partner with parents in teaching children who Jesus Christ is and what it means to abide in Him.
We desire to develop a contagious excitement for God by studying God's word through hands-on teaching, crafts and games in an environment that is different than a day at school. We want children to experience what it is to like to live a life devoted to our Creator.
By using the following principles, the children will develop a confidence in God that they can share with others:
- Building relationships with children
- Teaching children the power of prayer
- showing the love of God to each child
- Having so much fun that kids don't realize they're learning!
We are excited to be implementing the Hands-On Bible curriculum during our Sunday praise time. Each month we will be learning about God's word by utilizing different themes.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates."
